CHE COSA E’

CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea è un antisettico e disinfettante. Serve per disinfettare ferite.

PERCHE’ SI USA

CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea si usa per la disinfezione della cute anche lesa, di ferite, escoriazioni, tagli e lesioni cutanee. Il prodotto può essere usato nella disinfezione degli oggetti.

QUANDO NON DEVE ESSERE USATO

Ipersensibilità al principio attivo o ad uno qualsiasi degli eccipienti.

PRECAUZIONI PER L’USO

Il prodotto è solo per uso esterno.

QUALI MEDICINALI O ALIMENTI POSSONO MODIFICARE L’EFFETTO DEL MEDICINALE

Informare il medico o il farmacista se si è recentemente assunto qualsiasi altro medicinale, anche quelli senza prescrizione medica.

Non usate CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea se state seguendo una terapia a base di altri antisettici e detergenti.

IMPORTANTE SAPERE CHE

L’ingestione o l’inalazione accidentale di alcuni disinfettanti può avere conseguenze gravi, talora fatali. Il prodotto non deve essere posto in contatto con gli occhi, il cervello, le meningi e l’orecchio medio. Non deve essere utilizzato per la disinfezione delle cavità mucose (lavaggi, irrigazioni). Non esporre la parte trattata alla luce diretta del sole dopo l’applicazione del prodotto. L’uso, specie se prolungato, dei prodotti per uso topico può dare origine a fenomeni di sensibilizzazione: in tal caso, interrompere il trattamento e consultare il medico, per istituire una idonea terapia.

Non usare per trattamenti prolungati.

Dopo un breve periodo di trattamento senza risultati apprezzabili, consultare il medico.

Il cetilpiridinio cloruro è incompatibile con saponi e altri tensioattivi anionici.

QUANDO PUO’ ESSERE USATO SOLO DOPO AVER CONSULTATO IL MEDICO

Ipersensibilità al principio attivo o ad uno qualsiasi degli eccipienti.

E’ opportuno consultare il medico anche nei casi in cui tali disturbi si fossero manifestati in passato.

COSA FARE DURANTE LA GRAVIDANZA E L’ALLATTAMENTO

Chiedere consiglio al medico o al farmacista prima di prendere qualsiasi medicinale.

CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea può essere usato durante la gravidanza e l’allattamento.

EFFETTI SULLA CAPACITA’ DI GUIDARE VEICOLI E SULL’USO DI MACCHINARI

Cetilsan non altera la capacità di guidare veicoli o di usare macchinari.

COME USARE QUESTO MEDICINALE

Quanto

Ripetere l’applicazione 2-3 volte al giorno.

Attenzione: non superare le dosi indicate senza il consiglio del medico.

Come

Detergere la zona interessata con un batuffolo di cotone imbevuto di CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea, oppure versare un po’ di prodotto sulla lesione ed applicare una garza sterile imbevuta di CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea.

Per la disinfezione di oggetti: impiegare il CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea puro, secondo necessità.

Quando e per quanto tempo

Attenzione: usare solo per brevi periodi di trattamento.

Consultate il medico se il disturbo si presenta ripetutamente o se si nota un qualsiasi cambiamento recente delle sue caratteristiche.

COSA FARE SE AVETE PRESO UNA DOSE ECCESSIVA DI MEDICINALE

In caso di ingestione/assunzione accidentale di una dose eccessiva di CETILSAN Soluzione cutanea, avvertite immediatamente il medico o rivolgetevi al più vicino ospedale.

SE SI HA QUALSIASI DUBBIO SULL’USO DI CETILSAN, RIVOLGERSI AL MEDICO O AL FARMACISTA

EFFETTI INDESIDERATI

Come tutti i medicinali, Cetilsan può causare effetti indesiderati sebbene non tutte le persone li manifestino.

E’ possibile il verificarsi, in qualche caso, di intolleranza locale (bruciore o irritazione), peraltro priva di conseguenze, che non richiede modifica del trattamento.

Il rispetto delle istruzioni contenute nel foglio illustrativo riduce il rischio di effetti indesiderati.

Questi effetti indesiderati sono generalmente transitori. Quando si presentano è tuttavia opportuno consultare il medico o il farmacista.

Se uno qualsiasi degli effetti indesiderati si aggrava, o se nota la comparsa di un qualsiasi effetto indesiderato non elencato in questo foglio illustrativo, informi il medico o il farmacista.

SCADENZA E CONSERVAZIONE

Scadenza: Vedere la data di scadenza riportata sulla confezione.

La data di scadenza si riferisce al prodotto in confezionamento integro, correttamente conservato.

Attenzione: non utilizzare il medicinale dopo la data di scadenza riportata sulla confezione.

Tenere il contenitore ben chiuso.

I medicinali non devono essere gettati nell’acqua di scarico e nei rifiuti domestici. Chieda al farmacista come eliminare i medicinali che non utilizza più. Questo aiuterà a proteggere l’ambiente.

Tenere il medicinale fuori dalla portata e dalla vista dei bambini.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Cetilsan cutaneous solution is an antiseptic and disinfecting product, used for cleansing wounds.

USE OF PRODUCT

Cetilsan cutaneous solution is used for disinfection of skin, wounds, abrasions, cuts and cu-taneous lesions.

The product may also be used for disinfection of objects.

WARNING: do not use the product if you are sensitive to the active substance or any of the components.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

The product is indicated for External Use Only.

WHICH MEDICINALS OR FOOD ITEMS CAN ALTER THE EFFECT OF THIS MEDICINAL PRODUCT

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you have recently taken any other medicine, even those without a prescription.

Do not use Cetilsan cutaneous solution if you are following treatment with other antiseptic and cleansing products.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT

The accidental ingestion or inhalation of some disinfectants may have serious consequences, in some cases resulting in death. Avoid contact with eyes, brain, the meninges and the middle ear.

It should not be used for disinfection of mucous cavities (rinses or irrigation). Do not expose the treated part to direct sunlight after application of the product. The use, especially if prolonged, of topical use products may give rise to sensitisation: in such cases discontinue treatment and consult a doctor to initiate a suitable therapy.

Do not use for prolonged treatments.

If after a brief period of treatment no significant improvements are apparent, consult a doctor.
Cetylpyridinium chloride is incompatible with soaps and other tensio-active anionic substances.

WHEN TO USE ONLY AFTER SEEKING ADVICE FROM A DOCTOR

Sensitivity to the active substance or any of the components.

It would be beneficial if you seek advice from a doctor, if such ailments have manifested them-selves in the past.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF PREGNANCY OR LACTATION

Ask advice from a doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.

Cetilsan cutaneous solution may be used during pregnancy and lactation.

EFFECTS ON ABILITY TO DRIVE AND USE MACHINES

Cetilsan does not alter the ability to drive or use machines.

HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINAL PRODUCT

How much to use

Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day.

Warning: never exceed the indicated doses without medical advice.

How to use

Clean the area to be treated with cotton wool soaked in Cetilsan cutaneous solution or pour a little of the product on the lesion and cover with a sterile gauze soaked with Cetilsan cutaneous solution.

Disinfection of objects: use undiluted Cetilsan cutaneous solution, as required.

When to use and for how long

Attention: use only for brief periods of treatment.

Consult the doctor in case the ailment presents itself repeatedly or if you have noticed any re-cent change of its characteristics.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE TAKEN AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF THE MEDICINAL

In case of accidental ingestion / application of an excessive dose of Cetilsan cutaneous solution, seek medical advice immediately and go to the nearest hospital.

IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE USE OF CETILSAN, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, Cetilsan may cause undesirable effects although not all people will manifest them.

It is possible, occasionally, that local skin intolerance (burning sensation or irritation) occur without other consequences, and which do not require change of treatment.

Abiding by the instructions listed in this leaflet, reduces the risk of undesirable effects.

These undesirable effects are generally transient. However when they appear it is beneficial if you consult the doctor or pharmacist.

If any of the side effects becomes worse, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

EXPIRATION AND STORAGE

Expiration: check the expiry date indicated on the product.

The expiry date refers to the product packaging intact, correctly preserved

Attention: do not use the medicinal product after the expiration date indicated on the product.

Keep container well closed.

The medicinal products must not be thrown in the waste water and in household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw the medicinal products that you no longer use. This will help to protect the environment.

Keep this medicinal out of reach and sight of children.

Composition

100 ml contain:

Active ingredient: Cetylpyridinium chloride 0.2g. Excipients: Essence of roses, purified water.

Pharmaceutical form and content:
